Once a Customer and Tasker had connected, they leave the original task details and remain in private messaging to discuss specifics. However, the ability to edit a task’s date or price was only available in the task details.
We streamlined this process by bringing the functionality upfront into a task bar within private messaging.
Help Taskers find relevant work
When filtering tasks, Taskers needed to scroll through an overwhelming list of over 100 categories.
We added a search bar and improved the flow’s overall UX, such as using the filter input field to remind users of their selected categories.
Enable Taskers to make an offer anytime
Before making an offer, Taskers usually go through a lengthy scroll of reading through the task’s details. However, the CTA was only accessible at the top of the page.
We introduced a bottom sticky bar containing the CTA and key task details, allowing Taskers to make an offer without interrupting their thought process.
Bring users a sense of joy on Airtasker
Our user experience lacked energy and didn’t evoke the feelings of accomplishment and delight when getting a task done.
We injected animations to celebrate key moments in the journey, like Taskers making an offer, or getting paid for a completed job.
